Angela R. Reid-Brown

Angela R. Reid-Brown is a licensed Indiana attorney whose primary focus is estate planning. She helps individuals and families create personalized plans that protect their assets, provide peace of mind, and ensure their wishes are honored. In addition to estate planning, Angela also assists clients with small business matters and contract drafting and review.

Angela brings a strong background in public sector law, program administration, and contract management to her practice. She is known for her attention to detail, strategic thinking, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with integrity and care.

Before founding her firm, Angela served as a Staff Attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services, advising on child welfare matters, negotiating contracts, and drafting legal documents. She also worked as Court Improvement Program Administrator at the Indiana Supreme Court, where she managed federal grants, supported judicial programs, and provided legal research and analysis for trial courts.

Angela earned her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law and holds a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University. In addition to her law license, she is also a licensed Indiana real estate broker and a licensed Florida real estate sales associate.

Angela is dedicated to making the estate planning process approachable, informative, and effective for every client while offering trusted guidance in other areas of law when needed.

Tarah J. Reid is the Chief Operating Officer at Angela. R. Reid-Brown, Attorney at Law. She brings over 15 years of leadership experience in finance, operations, and human resources across the legal, nonprofit, government, and private sectors. In her role at Angela R. Reid-Brown, Attorney at Law, Tarah plays a vital role in strengthening client service delivery, overseeing corporate finance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the firm’s long-term strategic growth.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business along with FINRA and data analytics certifications. Outside the office,Tarah is actively involved in small business and local real estate development initiatives. She is also a passionate sports and travel enthusiast.

Carol Y. Peat-Paralegal

Carol Y. Peat is a key member of our team, serving as our Paralegal. She provides invaluable support to clients as they navigate the estate planning process. Carol began her career at Miles Laboratories/Bayer Healthcare, where she held various administrative roles, including stenographer and administrative assistant. This extensive background equipped her with a talent for managing complex details with precision and efficiency. Drawing on her professional experience, Carol expertly guides clients through the necessary steps of their legal matters with professionalism and care. She holds an Associate's Degree from Davenport College and is certified by Indiana University, South Bend, with "The Comprehensive Paralegal Program – Level 2" and "Executive Secretary/Administrative Assistant/Office Manager" certifications.

Jessica T. Brown-Chief Content Officer

Jessica T. Brown, the Chief Content Officer at Angela R. Reid-Brown, Attorney at Law, is a versatile professional with a passion for helping businesses thrive. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Indiana Wesleyan University, and her background as a certified educator has equipped her with a unique skill set.

Drawing on her experience in developing and overseeing lesson plans for preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten, Jessica excels at crafting compelling content that resonates with specific audiences. She leverages her expertise to help childcare programs and small businesses in Indianapolis stand out and grow their brands.
